During 2020, our Foundation's donors proved to be truly essential and helped our community through a year of multiple challenges.
Throughout 2020 the Foundation's Investment Committee worked prudently with our investment advisors, Alex Brown to provide donors with strong investment results (+12.83%)* that exceeded our benchmarks (+12.24%). In large part thanks to our donors, Gaston Community Foundation has exceeded $115 million dollars in grants to non-profits since inception. The Foundation also eclipsed $102 million dollars in total assets at year-end 2020.
